Take the kids on an adventure this half term whether it’s conker collecting in the North Yorkshire countryside or mooching around museums in Middlesbrough. Whatever you choose, there is plenty to see and do.
Train operator TransPennine Express (TPE) is encouraging families to get out and about this half term by allowing children to travel for just £1 on selected routes.
The offer is for journeys made between 17 October and 28 October 2016 and the bargain, standard class tickets can be bought exclusively online at: tpexpress.co.uk/kids or at the station.
We have also teamed up with some local partners to offer discounted entry to a range of attractions including Scarborough’s Alpamare waterpark (where customers receive a £3 discount), Hull’s The Deep (where one child goes free with two paying adults saving up to £10) and Scarborough Castle (where one child goes free with a paying adult) all on production of a valid TPE train ticket.
