First Essex has donated to travel tickets to help young people affected by homelessness, addiction and a range of needs.
The company has donated 50 First Essex day tickets to the Canvey Island Youth Project, an organisation which works with people aged between 11 and 25 who have different needs and dependencies.
The project offers befriending services and counselling, drug and alcohol work and mentoring for those in need.
The tickets are valid for the whole day and passengers can benefit from unlimited trips on First services in Essex.
Danny Jones, General Manager for First in South Essex, said: “The Canvey Island Youth Project is a remarkable organisation which delivers vital services for young people in the area. We are more than happy to support them by donating the travel passes.”
