FirstGroup America (FGA), North America’s leading transportation company, recently donated more than $112,000 to Children’s Miracle Network, an international, non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children’s hospitals.
“Our partnership with Children’s Miracle Network builds on our commitment to making a difference in the lives of children,” said Christian Gartner, FirstGroup America senior vice president of finance. “Our employees are dedicated to contributing in meaningful ways to the communities where they live and work.”
FGA employees raised the money through direct deposit donations, company contributions and employee fundraisers. The company’s commitment to Children’s Miracle Network is part of is part of an ongoing dedication to corporate social responsibility, which extends beyond charitable contributions and into employee engagement, customer satisfaction, and environmental awareness.
