Local bus operator, First Aberdeen, today launched a new bus ticket for Dons fans.
From this Saturday (3 August), season ticket holders at Pittodrie can enjoy discounted bus travel to and from home Saturday matches by buying First’s new ‘Show N Go’ ticket.
Members of the ‘Red Army’ can buy a return ticket’ for £3.30, a saving of up to £1.20. Alternatively supporters can purchase a group ticket which allows four people, regardless of the distance, to travel to and from the match for £10.
The ticket is valid on all First’s services on Saturdays when The Dons are playing at Pittodrie. Customers must show a valid Aberdeen season ticket to purchase the ticket.
Duncan Cameron, Director and General Manager of First Aberdeen said: ‘We know many of our customers are passionate Aberdeen fans. I’m sure they will welcome a cheaper means of getting to and from the football. Parking in the area can often be limited and so for many supporters it will be more convenient and cost effective to travel by bus.
He continued: “With a new manager in place this season it’s a fresh start for the Dons so this new ticket will help the fans get right behind Derek McInnes and the team.”
Tickets can be bought on board First’s buses and at the company’s Travel Shop, 47 Union Street, Aberdeen.
