Commuters throughout Eastern Canada are facing the impending reduction in flexible ticket choices and may be wondering what other options are available. Greyhound Canada today issued a message to commuters, reminding them of QuickLink, the company’s commuter service that combines popular routes with flexible ticket options, allowing customers to stay productive on the road and arrive at work refreshed and relaxed.
QuickLink provides an alternative to the daily commute, offering comfortable, reliable and affordable service both in the morning and with return service in the afternoon. Customers can enjoy their commute by taking advantage of amenities such as reclining seats, tray tables, climate control, tinted windows and an on-board restroom.
As other services such as VIA Rail begin to cut back on ticket options essential for commuters, QuickLink will continue to offer five flexible ticket packages, each available for purchase at www.greyhound.ca:
• Ontario Monthly Saver Pass — Offers unlimited travel during the entire month in which it was purchased.
• Weekly Commuter Pass — Provides a discount on eight consecutive days of travel for one low price.
• 20Pak Pass — Discounted package of 20 one-way tickets that saves approximately 40 percent off walk-up fares.
• 10 Trip Pass — Discounted package of 10 one-way tickets that saves approximately 40 percent off walk-up fares.
• Ontario Same Day Return — For commuters in Ontario who have the daily need for flexibility, this service is a single round-trip ticket which is valid for travel on the day of purchase.
“QuickLink provides commuters many convenient and affordable ticket options. Our customers work hard, so their commute should be stress-free,” said Stuart Kendrick, senior vice president, Greyhound Canada. “On QuickLink, commuters can choose to sit back and relax during their ride, arriving at their destination refreshed, or get a little extra work done and put their travel time to productive use.”
QuickLink only operates during weekdays and does not run on weekends or on holidays. Commuters can choose from 12 departure locations and connect to popular commute routes, such as service between Toronto to Kitchener, Brantford, St. Catharines/Niagara Falls or Guelph. Service between Ottawa and Montréal is also offered.
