Community engagement is critical to sustaining and improving our long term partnerships with key stakeholders, including our industry partners, customers, government and political stakeholders, and all those within our local communities. Across our global operations we have significant expertise in community engagement, and our aim is to ensure we consistently draw on this to maintain strong relationships with our partners.
This year we focused on the development of impactful community engagement plans at the local level across the Group, with almost 500 plans now being put into practice. We have continued to deliver training and support for managers to enhance their community engagement skills, and have provided opportunities for sharing best practice within our divisions.
